Week of Big Sends in Europe and U.S. with 5.15b and V15 Repeats

In Europe and U.S., it’s game on for rock climbing as the temps are well above freezing.

In Europe, Brazilian crusher Felipe Camargo has made  the third ascent of Chris Sharma’s Catalan Witness The Fitness V15. He wrote on social media, “Super happy! The boulder is awesome and I didn’t expect to do it in just four days. I’ve been training a lot of roof climbing.”

Adam Ondra has made the second ascent of Chris Sharma’s Stoking the Fire 5.15b in Santa Linya. After his send, Ondra said that the crux was really a mental battle for him and he almost fell at the end of the route.

Also at Hueco, Alex Puccio sent Nagual V13 in less than an hour and on her second try. In the past 18 months, Puccio has climbed 16 V13s.
