Yannick Neufeld-Cumming Sends Horne 5.14

Yannick Neufeld-Cumming sent his fourth 5.14a this week with a tick of Northern Man at Horne Lake on Vancouver Island.

Thrilled to have sent Northern Man (5.14a) at Horne Lake today despite the scorching 34 degree heat! I had been hoping to complete ADATO, but with a nagging hip injury I think it will need to wait. After his send, he noted on Sendage.com, “Pleased to have finished this off despite the scorching 34 degree temperatures today! Was hoping to continue to finish ADATO, but with a nagging hip injury it will have to wait.”

Earlier this summer, he made the first ascent of Navigating the Cosmos, also at Horne. This is his fourth climb of the grade this year.

The previous three were Inferno De Dante Extension in Mexico, Jesus Loves a Linkup at Horne and Dinosaur Highway at Horne.
