1911 Climbing Film

Mario Piacenza, April 1884 to April 16, 1957, was a fascinating man. He was an avid mountaineer and director of the Museum of the Mountain of Turin . This film documents the ascent of Piacenza and his partners to the Giant’s Tooth. The video is a reversal of the restored copy from the National Museum of Cinema in collaboration with the Foundation Piacenza and the Museum of the Mountain of Turin.
