Significant Ascents of 2014
The Piolet d’Or has compiled a list of ascents from 2014 they will consider for awards. The preliminary list of major ascents during 2014 was compiled by Claude Gardien and Lindsay Griffin.

Canadians Raphael Slawinski and Ian Welsted won the Piolet d’Or in for their 2013 first ascent of K6 West
It was announced that Sir Chris Bonington will be awarded the 2015 Piolet d’Or Lifetime Achievement Award.
