Watch Chris Sharma Project in Santa Linya

Chris Sharma has been climbing for more than 20 years and was the first to establish North America’s first 5.14c at the age of 15. He established and made the second ascent of what is still the world’s hardest route La Dura Dura 5.15c and has been instrumental in advancing the sport of climbing and guiding it in a positive direction. He recently became somewhat of an entrepreneur, opening his own bouldering gym in Barcelona.

Stepping out of his comfort zone, he’s trying to create something unique and give back to the sport he loves. Sharma has been a guiding force in the development of Santa Linya climbing over the past 10 years, now considered one of the world’s toughest sport climbing destinations. In this clip, Sasha DiGiulian, Edu Marin and Adam Ondra watch on as Sharma goes through the process of putting up a brand new route, without even knowing if it’s technically possible.
