Alex Megos: Five 5.14s In A Day

Alex Megos continues to set the bar in Australia and recently had one stellar day of sends.

Megos recently made the second ascent of Mr. Pink 5.14c, first climbed by Ben Cossey and said, “Definitely one of the hardest 8c+’s I have done. What a route!”

He then reported on Facebook about a big day in the Blue Mountains, with hard sends and a personal upgrade.

“What a day out!!! Sneaked the first repeats of Sneaky Old Fox 5.14c, Fantastic Mr Fox 5.14b and Over Monkey 5.14b (I would give it 5.14c) after nine years.

“And to finish the day off i repeated Rhythm and Stealth 5.14a and a variation of Der Keitzlig Hund 5.14b.”
