Ashima Shiraishi Climbs V14
Ashima Shiraishi climbed one of the hardest boulder problems in Bishop on January 1.
Since arriving in Bishop before Christmas, Shiraishi has climbed Maze of Death V12, Babeurre V12, Blood Meridian V13 and now The Swarm V14.
Shiraishi is one of, if not the strongest female climber to date. On Instagram, she wrote, “Sending has never felt this good. Trying to get the first female ascent of The Swarm V14 was a huge mental battle for me.”
