Barbara Raudner is one of the world’s strongest female climbers and she recently sent one of her dream lines.

In 2013, Raudner sent Mind Contral 5.14c and said, ““I had to stay motivated, to control my mind until the top and to take my chance… For me Mind Control is the most beautiful route I have ever tried.” Later that year, she climbed Terence Hill 5.14a.

This week, Raudner reported on Facebook:

Happy! The epic Tom et Je Ris, 8b+ (5.14a) in Verdon, France is done. Sixty-meters of overhanging tufa limestone about 200 metres above the gorge. Approached by a one-hour and twenty-minute hike and then by an abseil, the route itself is super exposed, sustained and run-out. Quite the mind-trip. During my first days, I felt intimidated. Thankfully the pieces came together and I managed to send this king line a few days ago. A dream came true for me.”
