New Route at Poke-O-Moonshine

New East Coast Ice on Poke-O-Moonshine

Jeff Lowe climbed Stingray, WI5+, in 1996 on Poke-O-Moonshine in the Adirondacks. It was an exceptional year for ice formation, few seasons have been like it. East Coast climbers Ian Osteyee and Mark Meschinelle climbed Stingray on December 27, 2013, and noticed a smear to its left. They climbed the thin, narrow route and named it Ruination, WI6.
