First Cliffhanger, then Vertical Limit and now… Shivaay!

Great things happen when Bollywood/Hollywood movie producers bring climbing and mountaineering onto the big screen. In Cliffhanger, Gabe (Sylvester Stallone) had a bolt gun that drove bolts into the rock. In Vertical Limit, Peter Garrett (Chris O’Donnell) jumped a 10-metre gap with ice tools. The new Shivaay is an  Indian Hindi-language film directed and produced by Ajay Devgan where anything can happen. Even street fights with ice tools.

The film description is, “Shivaay is a Himalayan mountaineer who is an innocent everyman and yet is capable of transforming into a mean destroyer when he needs to protect his family.”
