Watch Bonington Reenact 1881 Alfred Mummery Climb
Watch this old TV video recording from 1992 of Chris Bonington reenacting a classic climb of the Grepon in tweeds, woollen socks and old boots by Alfred Mummery in 1881.
There appears to be no video or DVD available anywhere of this program, so enjoy this little gem. Bonington will be at the 2017 Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival in October.
