Photographer Peter Hoang Speaking in Canmore

Canmore climber and photographer Peter Hoang will be giving a slideshow featuring some of his images from rock and ice climbing on Oct. 3 in Canmore. Since moving to the Rockies, Hoang has climbed classic routes on Yamnuska and in the alpine. Last winter, he made a rare ascent of Gimme Shelter VI WI6.

The event will take place at the Canmore Brewing Company, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and is hosted by The Bow Valley Mountain Club. The event is free. Visit the Facebook page here.
