Alannah Yip Podiums at Portland Boulder Rally, Puccio and Coleman Win

The Portland Boulder Rally took place on Oct. 1 and a number of Canadians made the trip. The event always draws a big crowd and a number of strong competitors. Strong B.C. climber Alannah Yip took third place with Kyra Condi in second and crusher Alex Puccio in first. Allison Vest finished in fifth. Watch the 2016 trailer:

For the men, Nathaniel Coleman took the top of the podium with Carlo Denali in second and Matt Fultz in third. Canadian Elan Jonas-McRae finished in fifth place. Stay tuned for a highlights reel.

2 years ago I last competed at the #portlandboulderrally and came in first. Last year I had to sit on the sidelines and watch do to my knee injury. Glad I was able recover from this spine injury in time to be able to return back to Portland and compete again!!! ? I'm currently in first place going into finals tonight after a hard redpoint round this morning! ? Psyched to climb on some more sweet boulder problems here in a little bit for finals!!!
