Alannah Yip Wins Northwest Bouldering Fest 2017

Alannah Yip has had a great year on the rock and in the competition world. Among the many other competition successes, she’s the Canadian Lead, Speed and Boulder champion this year.

Earlier this season, she climbed her first 5.14a with the first female ascent of Pulse, the first climb of the grade in Canada.

This fall, despite not competing much of late, she took top spot for Females at the Northwest Bouldering Fest in Seattle. Fellow Canadian Allison Vest took third.
