Arc’teryx Squamish Exposed Photo Competition 2018
The 2018 Arc’teryx Squamish Exposed photo competition climbers and photographers have been announced.
Team up with some of the world’s best and spend a day on destination climbs, capturing the essence of what it means to expose yourself to the challenges and majesty of climbing in and around Squamish.
Six teams composed of a professional athlete, photographer, and a lucky member of the public go head-to-head creating a slideshow that best displays the athleticism and personality of climbing in Squamish.
Teams will have two days to shoot, and photographers 1 day to edit a slideshow that will be played at the Squamish Exposed event at the Academy on Sat. July 21 downtown at O’siem Pavilion Park at 7:00pm
The climbers are Vikki Weldon, Will add, Kinley Aitken, Mina Leslie-Wujastyk, Rob Pizem and Paul McSorley.
The photographers are Drew Smith, Savannah Cummins, John Price, Chris Christie, Tara Kerzhner and Thomas Burden.
To enter, you must be comfortable leading at least 5.9 and following 5.10 + traditional climbs. Must be 19 years of age or older.
Submission deadline of Friday June 30. Winners will be notified by July 9 2018. To apply visit here.
