Canadians Finish Top-20 at 2016 Adidas Rockstars

Canadians Sean McColl and Alannah Yip advanced to Semi-finals on Aug. 24, but couldn’t finish in the top-six to advance to Finals at the Adidas Rockstars comp in Germany. McColl, 29, is a three-time champ, but finished in 13th after Semis. This was 22-year-old Yip’s first time at the Rockstars event and after an impressive Qualifications, finished in 20th.

This event had a number of the world’s top boulderers make it through to Finals. The top-six Females starting in first after Semis are: Janja Garnbret, Petra Klingler, Akiyo Noguchi, Mina Markovic, Staša Gejo and Leah Crane. Top-six Males after Semis are Jernej Kruder, Jongwon Chon, Tomoa Narasaki, Jan Hojer, Rustam Gelmanov and Alban Levier. Watch the Finals here.
