Chamonix IFSC World Cup Results

The second IFSC Lead World Cup took place in Chamonix from July 10 to 12. The weather was far from perfect for the outdoor event, but the climbing was great.

Chamonix was the site of the first Winter Olympics in 1924 and the town that alpinist Mark Twight once dubbed “the death-sport capital of the world.”

Canada’s Sean McColl finished in ninth place.
