Garnbret and Rubstov Win 2017 Tokyo World Cup

The fourth stop of the IFSC 2017 World Cup circuit made its way to Tokyo where Janja Garnbret and Alexey Rubstsov took top spots. Full results here.

No Canadians advanced past Qualifiers and their final results were: Alannah Yip in 33, Eva Thompson in 47, Sean McColl in 53, Seb Lazure in 55, Ayo Sopeju in 63, Jj Mah in 65, Matt Wellington in 79, Jake Tiger in 81 and Zach Richardson in 83.

3. Miho Nonaka / Keita Watabe

The big story of the event was the strong competition of team Japan, winning four podium spots and taking a number of top 10.

The next World Cup will be in June in Vail at the GoPro Games.
