Registration Open for 12th Annual Red Rock Rendezvous Climbing Festival

Las Vegas, Nev. – The 12th annual Red Rock Rendezvous (RRR) rock climbing festival will retun to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area near Las Vegas, Nev., Friday through Sunday, March 27 to 29. Registration packages start at $99 for the weekend clinics with world-class athletes and the nation’s top climbing guides.

The North Face will again serve as this year’s title sponsor.

Included in the $99 registration option is access to a morning or afternoon clinic on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the clinics, participants also get to choose from various other off-the-rock activities including slacklining, mountain biking and trail running.

Other registration options include the UClimb package for $179 and the UClimb with gear package for $319. Both options include a full day of personalized instruction on the basics of rock climbing in a small group setting on Friday with an American Alpine Institute guide. The packages also include access to a morning or afternoon clinic on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the clinics, participants also get to choose from off-the-rock activities. The UClimb with gear package also includes harness, helmet, shoes, belay device, carabiner and chalk bag.

Base camp for the festival will once again be at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, located about 10 minutes from the entrance to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, with participant camping at Spring Mountain Ranch . The festival will run shuttle buses between the campground and the various festival climbing locations throughout the event.

The Access Fund, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment, will once again be a recipient of event proceeds with additional funds going to the American Safe Climbing Association, the American Alpine Club, Friends of Red Rocks and the Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council.
