The Montana Women’s Climbing Fest 2023

The event will take place at the start of June at one of Montana's great climbing areas

The Montana Women’s Climbing Fest, which is organized by the Women’s Climbing Collective, will take place in Hellgate Gulch from June 2 to 4. This festival offers an opportunity for women and genderqueer climbers to learn and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment, free from external pressures often associated with male-dominated climbing spaces.

The festival is stacked with some amazing clinics this year, including climbing photography with Nikki Smith, redpointing tactics plus climbing movement with Karly Rager, self-rescue skills with Lindsay Fixmer, fear of falling with rock guide Anju Samuelson, and climbing in the adaptive community with Cail Soria, a below-the-knee amputee.

The experienced instructors will provide workshops and clinics covering a range of topics, from beginner to advanced levels, and there’ll also be opportunities to practice yoga and meditation, and learn about sustainable and Leave No Trace principles.

We highly recommend that If you have the opportunity to make it to Montana for this event that you do so. Buy tickets and book your clinic online here. For a recap of last year’s festival visit here and for more information about the fest visit the Montana Women’s Climbing Fest website here.
