Wipeout Wednesday: Three Vids of Face Plants and Whippers

In the world of climbing, big wipeouts are few and far between, but when they do go down it’s always great when someone is catching it on film so we can all learn how to avoid them.

In the first video, Claire Bukowski took a 10-metre fall at a competition and landed on a soft floor. She did suffer some injuries and a fear of lead climbing for some time. Read about the fall here.

Big falls can hurt, even when they’re onto soft pads. Play safe out there.
