Women’s Bugaboo Alpine Camp

IFMGA Mountain Guide Kirsten Knechtel and ACMG Alpine Guide Sarah Hueniken recently wrapped up their annual Bugaboo camp for women.

For five days, women looking to gain experience in the alpine travelled to the Bugaboos where they were given introductory lessons on a number of different terrains. From crevasse rescue and rope ascension to alpine rock and ice, the week was a huge success.
