Many day-packs just don’t cut it for serious climbing, but if you’re looking for the perfect multi-pitch or alpine summer climbing pack for this summer, the Deuter Guidelite 30+ might be it. At just 900 grams, it’s packed with features that climbers will appreciate.
The abrasion-resistant High Tenacity Polyamide fabric balances lightness with toughness, but if you want a pack for regular hauling, this might not be it. A helmet mount, hip belt and Delrin U-frame will help make carrying your rack and rope to the crag a little easier.
The hip belt can be removed for the climb. The lid is also removable for shorter missions, or to make the pack more streamlined for hauling. Ice axe, ski, walking pole and sunglass attachments keep all your gear secure as conditions and terrain change on your day out.
