Review: Black Diamond StormLine Stretch Rain Shell

Black Diamond’s new StormLine Stretch Rain Shell has hit the market just in time for spring in Canada.

The seam-taped breathable and waterproof rain jacket is stretchy for active climbing and hikers.

The main zipper is waterproof, it has zippered hand pockets and has pit zips. It can pack into it’s own pocket and clip onto your harness.

It’s not the most athletic fit which  means you can have an extra layer or two underneath, which is perfect for chilly spring days.

The craftsmanship is top Black Diamond quality and it’s extremely lightweight.

This is the jacket you want to keep in your cragging or multi-pitch days when the weather might turn from sun to cloudy to rainy.

It’s got a roomy hood that’s easy to pull over your helmet. Overall a top choice for 2018.
