Review: Five Ten Rogue VCS Climbing Shoe

Five Ten Rogue VCS

The Five Ten Rogue VCS is an affordable option for all-round climbing, whether you’re at the gym or heading out on the rock.

The dual hook-and-loop closures and a perforated upper keep the shoe snug to your foot.

Up high on the hot rock the perforated upper provides good breathability and the slight asymmetric shape, flat toe profile and moderate stiffness make it a top shoe on multi-pitch climbs.

If you purchase a size bigger than you get aggressive shoes you can wear them comfortably on belay ledges. And the nice arch stops the shoe from spinning on your foot..

They come with the amazing Stealth C4 rubber sole which sticks to slick slabs and tiny edges.

The heels are a little big and aren’t the best for heel hooks, but the great toe edge makes up for it outdoors.

A great middle-ground climbing shoe for moderate rock climbing and gym climbing.
