Review: New Black Diamond Offset Stoppers

The new full set of Black Diamond’s Offset Stoppers are an absolute must-have for any trad climber.

Each one (#7–11) is individually hot forged and has an offset contact area that allows for easy placements in non-parallel cracks.

Each piece offers four tapered, vari-sized trapezoidal facets that are perfect for wonky cracks. They fit great into tapered cracks, small pinches and flare.

They have up to 10 kN of holding power and come in bright anodized colour coding. They are made from aluminum and have a steel cable.

A great addition to the trad climber’s rack and perfect for cracks in the Bugaboos, Squamish, Val David and everywhere else in Canada.
