The Gear Library provides customers with the tools and inspiration they need to explore the great outdoors, free of charge.

It’s an extension of our instore service and experience, but ultimately our mission was to inspire our community to get outside with friends and family, with the ask that they share their adventure. As a thank you to those who engage with our Gear Libraries, we have created limited edition patches (only available in that city).”

Details about the Gear Library free offer and contest: Today, Arc’teryx has launched a Gear Library program in Toronto’s Yorkdale and Queen St. W locations. The Gear Library is a unique addition to the Arc’teryx shopping experience which encourages customers to try new products and inspires them to explore the great outdoors.
Taking inspiration from the successful demo gear lending programs at events such as Climbing Academy and Alpine Academy, the Gear Library will provide a similar experience at a more local and accessible level.
Toronto’s Queen St. W. and Yorkdale locations will feature the following hero Arc’teryx products in their Gear Libraries: Alpha AR jacket, Norvan LD GTX running shoes, Rolling Duffle (80 l) and harnesses.
To celebrate the launch of the Gear Library, every customer who borrows product is encouraged to share their adventure on Instagram by using the store hashtags #arcteryxtoronto and #arcteryxyorkdale and tagging #gearlibrary to be entered into a contest to receive a full kit of products.
The contest ends on Jan 14. Each store will have one winner and they will be announced on Jan. 28.
