Longline Rescue for Skier Below Aemmer Couloir

Not much is known about a recent accident on Mount Temple, other than a skier took a big fall down Aemmer Couloir and stopped on a snow slope below a cliff band.

Aemmer Couloir is an often-skied line that requires excellent backcountry skiing skills and the appropriate gear. Even if you’re prepared and experienced, things can still go bad.
