Nicky Spinks Survived Cancer and Crushed this Mountain Challenge

In May 2016, Nicky Spinks became the first woman to run the Bob Graham Round twice in a single push.

The 49-year-old cancer survivor became the second person ever to complete the challenge in under 48 hours.

The Bob Graham Round is a challenge in the world of U.K. fell (trail) running, which started over a millennia ago.

It included 42 mountains in the Lake District and is named after a local hotelier from the 1930s who set the record.

With no sleep and eating sausages and beans, Spinks ran 212 kilometres and climbed 16,500 meters in 48 hours.

Watch and enjoy.
