Skiers Flock to Banff’s Sunshine Ski Hill

Ski hills in the Canadian Rockies have been busy over the past few weeks

On Nov. 21, weekend warriors crowded into the valley-bottom gondola station line at Sunshine Village ski resort in Banff National Park. The line starts at the gondola and meanders back through the parking lots and onto the access road.

Conditions in the Canadian Rockies have been prime over the past few weeks for resort skiing, but backcountry has been touchy.
