Steep Ski Descent of Alpine Route in Chamonix

Aiguille du Chardonnet is one of the most aesthetic peaks at 3,824 metres in the Mont Blanc range of Chamonix. There are many routes up its north face with the Migot Spur being the most classic option.

This weekend, Kilian Jornet and Vivian Bruchez made the first ski descent of the big line with Seb Montaz filming from above.

Jornet is known for his quick solos up some of the world’s largest peaks and Bruchez has made at least six first ski descents on Mont Blanc. Scroll through photos and videos below.
