This New Ski Flick Might Be the Coolest Short Film Ever Made, Watch it Here

Markus Eder spent three months filming for this 10-minute movie, and it was totally worth it

Markus Eder’s The Ultimate Run film is one of the coolest short ski films ever made. “Sometimes my mind goes kind of crazy about skiing and I ask myself, what if…?” says Eder at the start of the film, which took 90 days to shoot.

The Ultimate Run starts far above Zermatt with Eder dropping in to a steep world of powder, before shredding along glaciers and over seracs. He then skis directly into a glacier and pops back out at his home resort of Klausberg.

He then carves some resort slopes and hits the park with his buddies before heading back to the powder. He heads to the snow covered architecture of Taufer Castle and a mining museum. As the sun sets over the mountains, he slides onto the valley floor.

If you’re looking for a freesking film to get you stoked for this winter, look no further.
