Watch Huge Avalanches at Resort in Colorado

No one was injured, both were triggered by avalanche technicians

A skier in Colorado caught two big avalanches that happened at Jones Pass outside of Winter Park on video. Both avalanches were controlled and triggered intentionally by avalanche bombs.

In the Canadian Rockies, Kananaskis Country Public Safety Section posted an image of a skier-triggered avalanche below Miners Gully in Canmore.

All of this eludes to the fact that there is still some big avalanche danger in the Rocky Mountains, so be careful, check avalanche conditions and carry avalanche gear.
