Watch Scary Chairlift Accident with Skiers Flying Everywhere

If you ever wondered what happens when a chairlift runs in reverse twice as fast as it does forward, here’s your answer.

The accident happened at Gudauri Ski Resort in the Caucasus Mountain Range in eastern Europe.

The chairlift malfunction tossed skiers and snowboarders off in a terrifying way.

“People were left ‘shaken and shocked’, as the ski lift threw people off their seats and into the snow,” reported the Georgia Today.

There’s no certain number on how many people were injured, but reports are up to 12. The resort said it will reimburse all medical costs.
