Adam Ondra Trains for Tokyo Olympics in Spring 2019

In this episode of Road to Tokyo, we see the second part of Adam Ondra’s Tokyo training trip. “After a couple of days, I got rid of jet-lag and I had some of the most enjoyable training sessions I remember in a long time,” said Ondra.

“Training with some of the best members of Japanese team was most of all great fun. They are really easy-going, but at the same time, I learned a lot and trained hard. The most important was the quality of the problems – the routesetters take a LOT of time and care to make their boulder problems perfect – which means tricky, complex, powerful and technical at the same time, without possibility of cheating. It is really mind-blowing.”
