The IFSC has announced the postponement of the African and Australian Combined Continental Championships, which are both Olympic qualifiers, due to the coronavirus covid-19.
A total of eight Olympic spots are to be determined at those events, as well as the European and Asian qualifiers, which have also been postponed. The final two places will be filled with the Tripartite Committee reallocation.
All IFSC competitions are on until the Boulder World Cup in Munich currently scheduled for May 23 to 24. However, despite the Olympics still scheduled for Tokyo in July, there is a lot of uncertainty about the next few months of sporting competitions.
