Alannah Yip heading to Portland Boulder Rally this Saturday

The Circuit Tigard is hosting the 8^th annual Portland Boulder Rally this Saturday.

The Boulder Rally is a large-scale, all day climbing community event, with competition categories for everyone, topped off with a showdown between some of the strongest climbers in the US (and Canada).

According to the event website, “Day-long outdoor festivities include a huge gear raffle, beer garden, local food carts, an outdoor industry exhibition, and more!”

Canada’s Alannah Yip is heading down for the fun again; she made the podium in 2016 with a third place finish.

Other big names registered include last year’s 3^rd place finisher Maya Madere, Southwest Boulderfest winner Shannon Russell, and Alex Puccio.

On the men’s side, at least three of last year’s finalists are back to compete: Matt Fultz, Carlo Traversi and Jimmy Webb. It’s going to be good!
