Crank’nStein Halloween Comp at Crux in Austin

The Crux Climbing Center in Austin, Texas, held a unique climbing competition this weekend called Crank’nStein.

Crank’nstein is a comp where climbers (in costume)had to literally close themselves in a coffin to send a few of the routes. Results here.

The Crux advertised it as, “We’re at it again – calling all ghosts, ghouls and goblins to Crux’s third Crank’nStein. It’s a red-point competition that’ll be black light, dancing, climbing, and music all night. We got the brew, now all we need is you. And don’t forget, scare up a fright – costumes are a must on this night!”
