Don’t Miss the First-Ever World Cup in Bali This Weekend

Here's how and when you can watch the Lead comp on Saturday and Sunday

The second Lead World Cup of the 2025 kicked off earlier today in Bali, Indonesia. Athletes from around the world competing on an outdoor lead wall in a beautiful oceanside side. The qualification round took place today, and the semi-finals and finals will be held on Sunday (local time). On Saturday, a Speed World Cup will take place.

In the men’s comp, some big names have moved on to the semi-finals, including Sorato Anraku, Alberto Ginés López, Jesse Grupper, Yannick Flohé, Sascha Lehmann, and Dohyun Lee. The women’s semis also looks stacked with athletes like Erin McNeice, Ai Mori, Chaehyun Seo, Laura Rogora, Oceania Mackenzie, and Mia Krampl ready to compete.

Although many of the world’s best will be competing in Bali, a few top competitors will be missing. Brooke Raboutou and Janja Garnbret are sitting out much of the World Cup season in 2025. Natalia Grossman is out recovering from knee surgery. Annie Sanders is sitting out from the comp. Toby Roberts isn’t competing, and neither are Adam Ondra, Jakob Schubert, or Alex Megos.

Livestream Schedule

The Bali Lead World Cup semi-finals and finals will be livestreamed on the IFSC’s Youtube channel. The livestream schedule is listed below:

Men’s and Women’s Lead semi-finals – Saturday May 3 – 10pm ET (7pm PT)
Men’s Lead final – Sunday May 4 – 8:30am ET (5:30am PT)
Women’s Lead final – Sunday May 4 – 9:25am ET (6:25am PT)
