Janja Garnbret Returns to the World Cup in Innsbruck – Here’s How to Watch
It's the Slovenian's final World Cup appearance before the Olympics. Find out who's she's competing against below.

One of the biggest World Cup events of the year starts tomorrow in Innsbruck, Austria. The event features separate Boulder and Lead comps, with the former taking place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and the latter being held on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
Innsbruck will serve as a mini preview to the 2024 Paris Olympics, as many athletes who have qualified for the Summer Games are registered to compete in the event. In men’s, Paris Olympians Jakob Schubert, Alex Megos, Alberto Ginés López, Toby Roberts, Tomoa Narasaki, Sorato Anraku, Colin Duffy, Sascha Lehamann and Campbell Harrison are all signed up to compete in Innsbruck in at least one of the two events. In women’s, Janja Garnbret, Oriane Bertone, Jessica Pilz, Ai Mori, Chaehyun Seo, and Yuetong Zhang are registered.
Garnbret has said that Innsbruck is the final World Cup she’ll compete in before the Olympics. She’s going to sit out both Chamonix and Briançon in July in order to prepare for Paris. We can expect many other Olympic-qualified athletes to do the same. A few big names are already forgoing Innsbruck due to Olympics preparation. These include Adam Ondra, Brooke Raboutou, Natalia Grossman, Miho Nonaka, Jesse Grupper, Dohyun Lee, and Erin McNeice, among others.
Many of Canada and the United States’ top talent will be competing in Innsbruck. See below for the full list of Canadian and American athletes registered to compete in the Innsbruck Boulder and Lead comps.
