She earned two golds and one silver in this year's six-event series

Illness left her with disappointing results in the first two comps of 2023 in Hachioji and Seoul, where she didn’t qualify for finals. She came back strong in Salt Lake City, earning gold. She sat out of the comp in Prague but won gold again the following week in Brixen. At the final comp of the 2023 series yesterday in Innsbruck, she won silver, being bested by none other than Janja Garnbret.
In the 2022 Boulder World Cup, Grossman made the podium at every event, winning five golds and one silver. In 2021, she won three golds, one silver, and one bronze. She is quickly accruing one the best World Cup bouldering resumes ever. She now has 10 golds, three silvers, and one bronze across Boulder World Cup events. She also won gold at the 2021 Boulder World Championships in Moscow.
“As for the season, it started off very rocky,” she said via Instagram. “There were many emotions that followed the Asian comps and lots of hard work that went into preparing myself mentally for the rest of the World Cups. It feels so good to have turned my season around and to have ended on a high note! Now it’s time to switch it up and get back on a rope.”
In this year’s World Cup, Miho Nonaka came in second overall, winning gold in Seoul and bronze in Innsbruck. Grossman’s teammate Brooke Raboutou placed third overall, very close behind Nonaka, winning gold in Hachioji and bronze in both Seoul and Salt Lake City.
