The New Boreal Satori is Perfect for Hard Boulders

The new 2018 Boreal Satori will is one of the best shoes on the market this year for steep and technical bouldering.

It was developed alongside the Boreal Dharma in conjunction top climbers around the world.

Its aggressively down-turned and asymmetric last is combined with Boreal’s sticky zenith rubber, which we found had little rebound and held onto the stone longer.

They have a molded heel cup with sticky rubber, a new toe patch, a wrap around to keep your feet snug in place and they have a lace/velcro closure system.

The Satori women’s has a bit less volume and is slightly slimmer in the heel.

For 2019, Boreal will be bringing back the Ninja with some upgrades. More on those later.
