Nonaka and Ogata Win Bloc Shop Open 2019

The comp had some of the best set problems of the year

Yoshiyuki Ogata and Mino Nonaka took top spots at the Bloc Shop Open in Montreal this weekend. The podium went to a number of top international climbers, second was Gregor Vezonik and Petra Klingler and third was Mickael Mawen and Kyra Condia.

Ogata and Nonaka were the only climbers to get four tops. Sean McColl, who will be heading to the Olympics in 2020, finished in sixth overall. The route setting was nearly perfect with a great balance of technique and powerful problems. Re-watch finals below.
