Sean McColl Heads to Lead Finals at Worlds 2019

McColl is heading into finals in third place

Sean McColl is heading to finals at the lead World Championships 2019 in Japan after finishing third place in semifinals. McColl had a strong performance and finished behind Alex Megos and Tomoa Narasaki. Full results here.

McColl finished ahead of Adam Ondra and Kai Harada, who both had strong performances in boulderings, along with Narasaki who is this year’s boulder world champion. Janja Garnbret is leading heading into finals, find semis results here.

Day 4: lead qualification. Topped my first route of the day which definitely set the tone. Second one felt harder for me and I fell up high.
