Eddie Fowke is the photographer behind The Circuit Climbing. He is best known for his work photographing elite climbers on the IFSC circuit and working with premier outdoor athletes. In 2020, Fowke decided to bring his content to Youtube.
If you spend time flipping through climbing photos, you will quickly come across his work. With over 28 years of experience in climbing, Fowke has seen indoor climbing progress from its infancy to its Olympic indoctrination. In recent years, Fowke has acted as the photographer for the IFSC.
Fowke has worked on climbing competitions ranging from World Cups to pre-season boulder bashes like Dock Masters. Fowke said, “The Circuit Climbing (Youtube) aims to bring you the best coverage of competition climbing and performance climbing. I’ll be getting behind the scenes, I’ll be vlogging comps and outdoor trips, and I’ll be opening a window into the lives of elite climbers!”

New Vlog up on The Circuit Climbing YouTube 😊 Talking about how much kit, and what kit, I take for a weekend shoot. As Magic Wood disappears under about a meter of snow I'm packing for the weekend, time to go somewhere warmer like the Netherlands 🤔 These photos are from a much warmer Hachioji World Champs last summer, showcasing some of my favorite lens choices, and how I go for "light is right!" #thecircuitclimbing #thecircuitclimbingishere #climbing #bouldering #speedclimbing #ifscofficialphotographer #brandofthebrave #dockmasters2020
In addition to in-depth IFSC coverage, Fowke will include photography-specific information and tutorials that will help anyone become a better climbing photographer.
As the 2020 competition season begins, keep an eye out for sick content from The Circuit Climbing.
