Throwback Thursday: Josh Larson on Problem Four at Canadian Nationals 2015

Throwback to Canadian Boulder Nationals 2015 at Montreal’s Bloc Shop, when the U.S. crusher Josh Larson pulled off the first send of men’s final problem four.

The crowd exploded as Larson figured out the face-the-crowd beta, shared a Gene Simmons-inspired try-hard face, and topped the boulder. Check out the send here

Sean McColl, who won the event, also finished the problem in style, as did Sébastien Lazure, who came third after Larson.

Final Results Women/Men
1. Hung-Ying Lee / Sean McColl
2. Elise Sethna / Josh Larson
3. Catherine Laflamme / Sébastien Lazure

Full Video of Finals by Mathieu Elie below. Larson’s send starts at 9:50.
