Watch Magnus Try New York’s Top Rated Climbing Gym

During our stay-at-home time, there's nothing better than binging some quality climbing videos

Watch Magnus Midtbo, one of the world’s top climbers who has a huge online following, try New York’s highest rated climbing gym.

What gym is it? It’s called GP-81 and it’s located in Brooklyn. They say: “We designed and built the gym ourselves with the talents and resources of our local climbing community. From the walls to the climbing holds, everything found here at GP81 is unique to the facility.

“The gym features 7,000 sq ft of climbing terrain, including two Moon Boards, walls of 30, 45 and 60 degrees, and our most recent additions, the 15 degree and barrel wall. There are also multiple hang boards, campus board set ups, weights, and other training-focused items to help our members reach new levels in their climbing.”

We get it. Our community is uniquely excited to go into the woods or the mountains in the middle of nowhere and just hang out. And even though it’s more enticing than ever to take a climbing trip, it may also never be this important to skip it. We gotta bail sometimes. It’s part of the sport and we all need to be safe. Check out this great article from @americanalpine about COVID-19 and how climbers can help take action against it. https://americanalpineclub.org/news/2020/3/17/climbers-take-action-against-coronavirus To everyone that has reached out to support us, our staff, and the whole climbing community – thank you ?. We are working on getting our e-commerce site back up with new merchandise (yay!), and more ways to help the crew. We are unbelievably grateful to be a part of this community and can’t wait to be climbing 2 grades down with everyone when we’re back! ? @andysdeli #wemissyou #stayhome #forrealsies
