Watch the Third Boulder World Cup of 2023 This Weekend

The event in Salt Lake City, Utah will see some of Canada and the United States' top talent vie for gold

After awesome events in Japan and South Korea, the IFSC World Cup series moves to Salt Lake City this weekend. This World Cup stop will feature both a Speed and Boulder event. Boulder qualifiers were held today. Women’s Boulder semi-finals and finals will be held tomorrow, Saturday May 20th. Men’s Boulder semi-finals and finals will be held the following day, Sunday May 21st.

Madison Fischer is the only Canadian moving through to the semi-finals. Fischer won silver at the Canadian Boulder National Championships last year. Alannah Yip, Indiana Chapman, Rebecca Frangos, Sean McColl, and Oscar and Victor Baudrand were unable to cinch a top-20 spot in the qualifiers. Americans Natalia Grossman, Brooke Raboutou, Kyra Condie, Annie Sanders, Zach Galla, Colin Duffy, Ross Fulkerson, Zander Waller, and Sean Bailey will join Fischer in the semi-finals.

The Boulder semi-finals and finals will be livestreamed on the IFSC’s Youtube Channel. The YouTube livestream schedule is listed below:

Men’s Boulder Semi Finals – Sunday May 21 –12pm ET (9am PT)
