7 El Cap Routes in 7 Days!

Alex Honnold and Dave Allfrey have completed seven El Cap routes in seven days.

They set four new speed records and had to get up at 4 a.m. each day to avoid the heat.

They climbed between 6,000 and 7,000 metres of granite during their El Cap blitz.

“A great adventure with a great partner. Now it’s time to rest up a few days,” said Honnold on his Facebook.

The routes rumoured to be climbed are:

New Jersy Turnpike A4, 5.10

Tangerine Trip A2, 5.8

Eagles Way A3, 5.8

Nose C2, 5.9

Lurking Fear C2, 5.7

Zodiac A2, 5.7

Atlantis A4, 5.8
