71 Yosemite Pitches for Two Climbers in a Day
Miles Fullman and Tyler Karow have climbed the Yosemite Triple Crown in less than 24 hours

Miles Fullman and Tyler Karow have completed the Yosemite Triple Crown in less than 24 hours. The objective is a link-up of routes on El Capitan, Half Dome and Mount Watkins. According to Fullman, they’re the eighth team to accomplish the Yosemite Triple Crown.
Fullman and Karow’s exact time was 21 hours and 33 minutes. The last time we reported about climbers ticking the Triple was in 2022 when Danford Jooste and Nick Ehman climbed it in 21 hours and 35 minutes – read the story here.
In July 2012, Alex Honnold became the first climber to solo the Yosemite Triple Crown in 19 hours at the age of 26. Honnold estimated that he had free-soloed about 95 per cent of the terrain. “Climbing through the night, you’re always more tired than you should be because of the time and being by yourself, it’s weird,” he said. “I was climbing in a hybrid style where I had to keep switching back and forth between using a rope and not.”
“The final exam for a Yosemite speed climber and a lifetime achievement,” said Fullman about the Yosemite Triple Crown. “The perfect culmination of all of the time I have spent up on these massive granite walls.” Congrats to Fullman and Karow on this epic Yosemite day.
